Sanjana Sanghi: Dreams braver than we are

Sanjana Sanghi recently addressed a Coach Foundation event, delivering a deeply personal speech focused on inspiring young people. She candidly shared life's defining milestones, from a demanding childhood to the unpredictable film industry, emphasizing that success is rarely a straightforward path.

Recounting her early acting start at age 13, Sanghi revealed her casting in 'Rockstar' stemmed from a school dance performance. She credited her years of dance training with instilling the rigor, discipline, and humility that enabled her to navigate intimidating professional environments despite no prior acting experience.

Sanghi also touched upon balancing academics and acting ambitions during Class 12. Despite landing her first leading role at 17, she prioritized her studies to enter her dream college. She noted that the film she committed to then did not release for 11 years, a testament to her dedication and resilience.

Beyond cinema, Sanghi underscored the importance of making a positive impact. As a champion for organizations like UNDP and UNICEF, she advocates for youth empowerment, mental health, and gender equality, stressing that true success involves making a difference in others' lives.
