San Sebastian Fest Unveils Perlak Lineup

San Sebastian Film Festival has announced the selections for its Perlak competition, a sidebar dedicated to acclaimed films from earlier festivals. The lineup includes "Club Kid" by Jordan Firstman and Ira Sachs's "The Man I Love," both of which premiered in prestigious sections at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
The festival is set to take place from September 18 to 26. Among the other notable films in the Perlak section is Cristian Mungiu's Palme d'Or winner, "Fjord."
This edition also signifies a leadership transition for the festival. José Luis Rebordinos will be stepping down as festival director at the end of the year, with Maialen Beloki set to take over the role. Beloki brings a strong background in cultural management, teaching, and film research to her new position.
