The festival commences on August 7 with a performance by the State Band of Guanajuato in the main plaza, presenting French and Mexican compositions. Throughout the festival, attendees can enjoy a vocal recital at the Ángela Peralta Theater and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony performed by a combined choir on August 15.
Closing events on August 23 include a special organ performance at the Templo de la Tercera Orden and a rock concert, FutuRock, in the main square featuring nearly 100 young local musicians.
