Drishyam Actor's Bollywood Revelation: Hard Work Pays Off

Actress Samvedna Suwalka, recognized for her role as advocate Gayathri Mohan in the Drishyam franchise, is currently celebrating the success of 'Drishyam The Conclusion.' In a recent interview, Suwalka detailed her experience working on Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter,' where she portrayed Bela and performed in the song 'Sher Khul Gaye' alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.

Suwalka described her involvement in 'Sher Khul Gaye' as a dream come true, having been a fan of Hrithik Roshan since his debut. She was impressed by the professionalism and dedication of both Roshan and Padukone during the dance number's filming, noting Hrithik's commitment to multiple takes to achieve perfection.

She also recalled the 'Fighter' Kashmir schedule, mentioning Hrithik's intense focus on his lines. Suwalka contrasted this with Deepika Padukone's more social demeanor on set. However, she noted Hrithik's friendly nature during the film's success party.

Despite a decade-long career in independent and Gujarati cinema, Suwalka credits 'Drishyam 2' and 'Fighter' with bringing her widespread recognition. She acknowledged the immense power of mainstream Bollywood cinema in reaching audiences across India, a stark contrast to previous unrecognized work.

Interestingly, Suwalka is a doctor by education. She mentioned that her medical colleagues, even those in America, only recently became aware of her acting career following her appearances in these major films, underscoring Bollywood's significant impact on public recognition.
