The comedian recently experienced a major online success with his debut stand-up special, 'Still Alive.' This 1-hour and 21-minute special, released on YouTube, surpassed 53.4 million views, establishing a global record for the most-watched full-length stand-up comedy special from a single upload. 'Still Alive' also addresses the 'India's Got Latent' controversy from last year, Raina's subsequent year-long hiatus, personal struggles, and his identity as a Kashmiri Pandit.

The 'India's Got Latent' controversy arose in February of the previous year, leading to legal challenges after remarks made during an episode. While the show was temporarily removed from YouTube, and an apology was issued by another involved party, Raina has now signaled a return for the show's second season.
