Samantha's Regal Banarasi Wedding Sari Unveiled

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru exchanged vows in an intimate temple ceremony held in Coimbatore during December. The actor chose a traditional, handwoven red Banarasi sari crafted from pure katan satin silk. Designed by Arpita Mehta, the sari featured delicate powder-zari buttis, a nishi-woven border with intricate embroidery, tiny mirrors, and a special Jamdani tree of life motif on the blouse. This design choice reflected Samantha's desire for understated elegance.

Adding to the allure was Samantha's distinctive wedding ring, a creation by Greek jeweller Theodoros Savopoulos. The ring boasts a striking two-carat lozenge portrait-cut diamond, encircled by eight smaller diamonds in a petal-like formation. Raj Nidimoru, adhering to the ceremony's understated theme, wore a custom Tarun Tahiliani ensemble. His attire included a chevron-patterned quilted bundi layered over a handwoven silk kurta, paired with a classic churidar.
