Salman Khan's Superhero Debut with Raj & DK!

Salman Khan's career is poised for a unique chapter with a big-budget superhero film, 'The Last Hero,' directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK. This marks their first collaboration with the star.

The film is slated to begin principal photography as early as October 2026, following an extensive pre-visualisation and pre-production phase. Weta FX, known for major Hollywood visual effects, is reportedly in talks to achieve a global-scale aesthetic for the movie.

'The Last Hero' deviates from typical superhero narratives, focusing on an ageing crime-fighter reluctantly drawn into one final battle. This role is a significant departure from Salman's usual on-screen persona.

Before this venture, Khan is completing his commitments on 'Monster' (working title) and 'Bigg Boss 20'. 'Monster,' an action entertainer, is expected to release in Eid 2027.

In separate news, Salman's body double, Parvez Kazi, recently experienced a health scare during the shoot of the Nayanthara film but is recovering well. Khan reportedly ensured prompt medical attention for Kazi.
