Salman Khan's 'Maatrubhumi' Trailer Launch Amidst 'Ramayana' Buzz

Salman Khan's film 'Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace' is reportedly set to launch its trailer this Friday, potentially coinciding with the theatrical release of 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend'. The makers are said to be planning a promotional event in Mumbai, aiming to capture audience attention during the buzz generated by the epic film.

The war drama 'Maatrubhumi', previously titled 'Battle Of Galwan', draws inspiration from the military confrontation between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on June 15, 2020. Salman Khan is slated to portray an Indian Army officer based on Colonel Bikumalla Santosh.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also features Chitrangda Singh and Prashant Tamang. The narrative's original title directly referenced the Galwan Valley conflict, while the revised name suggests a broader thematic scope. Meanwhile, 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend' has premiered, with early screenings generating significant excitement, particularly in Bengaluru where fans celebrated its Kannada 3D release.
