Salman Khan's Next Film 'Maatrubhumi' Eyes New Date

Salman Khan's upcoming film, originally slated for an April 17 release and later renamed 'Maatrubhumi,' has been rescheduled. The postponement was due to necessary additional shooting sessions, with the new target date being May 15. This revised plan aims to expedite the film's release.

While a July to October window was previously considered, most prime slots in that period are now occupied. Independence Day was also considered, but Aamir Khan secured it for 'Lahore 1947.' The team is actively finalizing distribution partners and will soon confirm the release date, acknowledging their film's status as a major 2026 release lacking a confirmed slot. Salman Khan expressed gratitude for fan excitement and promises a prompt official announcement.
