Salman Khan's Heartfelt Gesture: Protecting Co-Star's Career

In October 2025, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's reputation for generosity and protectiveness within the industry was recently highlighted in a clarification by actor Rajat Bedi. Rumors had circulated that Salman had removed Rajat from the 2021 action film Radhe, but Rajat has now set the record straight.

Rajat explains that when Salman's production team had approached him for a role in Radhe, Salman himself advised Rajat against accepting it. However, this was not out of any negativity, but rather Salman's genuine concern for Rajat's career. As Rajat recounts, "Bhai said, 'You shouldn't do this role, beta. I'll offer you something better.'" Salman was simply looking out for Rajat and wanted to provide him with a more suitable opportunity.

Rajat, who comes from a third-generation film background, expressed deep gratitude for the long-standing respect and warmth that Salman and his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, have shown towards his family over the years. "Salman bhai and Salim saab have always shown great respect towards my family. We've shared a warm bond," he said.
