Salman Khan Inaugurates SRA IT Hub, Distributes Keys

Actor Salman Khan recently visited the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) office in Mumbai, marking his support for the Maharashtra Government's slum rehabilitation mission. During his visit on Friday night, Khan inaugurated the SRA's newly established Data Collection and Verification Support Centre, which houses an IT server room. This initiative aims to modernize governance and promote transparency in slum redevelopment projects.

Following the inauguration ceremony, Salman Khan personally handed over house keys to several beneficiaries of the SRA project. This gesture brought visible joy to the recipients, underscoring the tangible impact of the rehabilitation efforts. The actor also engaged with reporters present, using his characteristic humor to steer clear of sensitive topics, specifically avoiding questions about the film 'Maatrubhumi' and its reported release delays or certification issues.

Khan's visit highlights the government's commitment to improving slum dwellers' living conditions through a people-centric approach. His production house has previously denied unverified reports concerning 'Maatrubhumi.' In other news, Salman Khan is slated to star in an action film with Nayanthara, scheduled for a 2027 Eid release.
