Salman Khan Mediates Don 3 Feud: Ranveer & Farhan Tension Eases?

Salman Khan has reportedly taken on a mediating role in the dispute surrounding the film Don 3, aiming to resolve tensions between Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. He has communicated with both individuals, emphasizing the commonality of creative disagreements in the film industry and advising against further escalation. Sources indicate Khan encouraged maintaining a positive professional relationship despite the current fallout.

The controversy intensified following Ranveer Singh's departure from Don 3, which led the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to issue a non-cooperation directive against him. This situation arose after Ranveer was announced as the new Don in 2023, a move that initially garnered mixed reactions. Speculation later surfaced regarding creative differences and significant delays in the project.

Reports also surfaced that Excel Entertainment was seeking substantial damages from Ranveer Singh, citing pre-production losses. Prior to the dispute becoming public, Ranveer's team reportedly proposed a financial settlement of Rs 35 crores to Excel Entertainment, including an upfront payment and a discount on a future collaboration.

The FWICE became involved after Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani approached the federation, detailing incurred expenses such as overseas recce trips and crew arrangements. They highlighted Ranveer's prior three-film agreement and involvement in script discussions and announcement shoots.
