Summary
- Salman Khan refused to touch Om Puri's feet in a scene for Dabangg
- Director Abhinav Kashyap claims Salman also cut Arbaaz Khan's role in the film
- Mahie Gill's role was reduced due to Salman's decisions

According to a recent interview, director Abhinav Kashyap has made several explosive revelations about Salman Khan's behavior on the set of the 2010 film Dabangg. Kashyap claims that Salman, who played the lead role, refused to touch the feet of veteran actor Om Puri, who had a supporting role in the film.
Kashyap states that in the first scene between Puri and Salman's characters, Salman was supposed to touch Puri's feet, but he allegedly "rudely said, 'I won't do it, Main iske pair nahi chuonga (I won't touch his feet)'" and asked Kashyap to rewrite the scene. This angered Om Puri, who confronted Salman about it. Salman then reportedly told Puri, "Haan nahi karna hai to jao" (If you don't want to do it then leave).
Kashyap also alleges that Salman cut down the roles of his own brother Arbaaz Khan and actress Mahie Gill, who played Arbaaz's wife in the film. He says Salman's decisions "destroyed her career."
Despite the reported tensions, Dabangg went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office. However, Kashyap refused to direct the film's sequels, Dabangg 2 and Dabangg 3, and distanced himself from the franchise.
