Salma Hayek, 60, Embraces Exciting New Paris Life

Salma Hayek has embarked on a significant new phase of her life, relocating to Paris to live full-time. The acclaimed actress, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday, shared her enthusiasm for this new decade.

Hayek expressed feeling "quite excited" and believes she is "at my best today." She noted a perceived contradiction where women gain more to say with age but face fewer opportunities to express it.

As an "empty nester," Hayek is embracing the change, looking forward to learning how to support her children in their adult lives. She shares daughter Valentina, 18, with husband François-Henri Pinault, and is also a stepmother to his three older children. Recently, Hayek became a grandmother for the first time.

Her new Parisian life allows for increased time with her husband and adult daughter, who visits daily from her own apartment. Hayek previously visited Paris frequently but is now exclusively residing there.

Hayek even playfully suggested her friend Angelina Jolie consider moving to Paris as well, as Jolie departs Los Angeles.
