Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing a minimal brain hemorrhage. He is currently receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit and is on a ventilator as a precautionary measure.
Doctors attending to Salim Khan stated that he underwent a medical procedure called DSA. They emphasized that no surgery was required and that his condition has always been stable, never critical, despite initial reports. His high blood pressure and some jerks prompted immediate hospital admission and ICU care.
The hospitalization occurred on Tuesday morning, with family members, including Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and others, arriving at the hospital. Actor Sanjay Dutt also made a visit late Tuesday night.
Salim Khan, alongside Javed Akhtar, formed a legendary screenwriting duo in the 1970s, credited with landmark films like Sholay and Deewar. Though their partnership ended, they continue to have a significant influence on Hindi cinema.
