Saif Ali Khan: Still Haunted by the Stabbing Attack

Saif Ali Khan is still processing the trauma from a stabbing attack at his Mumbai residence in January 2025. The Bollywood actor disclosed that the incident, which occurred during an attempted burglary, continues to affect him, particularly his reaction to seeing knives. He shared that his wife was the most affected by the event, but the family moved past it relatively quickly.

Reflecting on the attack, Khan expressed immense gratitude for his survival, noting the low quality of the knife used prevented a more severe outcome. He acknowledged the attacker's desperate circumstances, suggesting financial hardship may have driven the intrusion. The actor also revealed his profound relief at avoiding paralysis, stating he would have preferred death to a life of immobility.

Despite the lingering psychological impact, Saif Ali Khan expressed a capacity for forgiveness towards his attacker. He believes the intruder was unlucky to face severe legal consequences for his actions. Khan's latest film, Haiwaan, is currently in theaters.
