Saif Ali Khan recently demonstrated his bowling abilities on a London cricket pitch, embracing his family's storied connection to the sport. This display occurred while the actor was in London.
Cricket is deeply ingrained in the Pataudi family's history. Saif's father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was a renowned Indian cricketer and former captain. Furthermore, his grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, captained India in 1946 and previously represented England in Test cricket. This legacy appears to be passed down, as Saif's son Taimur has also attended private cricket coaching sessions in London.
During Taimur's training, Saif explained the significance of cricket counties to his son, referencing their great-grandfather's and grandfather's affiliations with Worcestershire and Sussex, respectively. Saif Ali Khan is also slated to appear in Priyadarshan's upcoming thriller, Haiwaan, scheduled for a September 11 release.
