Saif Ali Khan: Producing Was Creative But Exhausting

Saif Ali Khan recently discussed his decision to shut down his film production company. He explained that while he relished the creative aspects of bringing a film to life, the immense responsibility eventually proved too taxing.

Khan, who produced films like 'Agent Vinod' and 'Cocktail', stated that producing could be a "thankless job" but allowed for creative input on aspects like sound and look. The actor found shaping a film's artistic identity enjoyable, but the practical demands were significant.

Reflecting on his past collaborations, he acknowledged producer Dinesh Vijan's success. Khan noted that while his production ventures had a good run, influenced partly by Eros, some projects are meant to have a finite duration.

He also commented on Shah Rukh Khan's producing approach for 'Kartavya', appreciating the space producers like Red Chillies gave to the production team, allowing them to focus on the filmmaking process.
