Sai Pallavi: Sita's role almost rejected!

Sai Pallavi, widely recognized for her performance as Malar in 'Premam', recently shared her initial reluctance to accept the role. She admitted that filmmaker Alphonse Puthren's offer seemed disingenuous, leading her to almost refuse the part that launched her career. Pallavi was pursuing medical studies in Georgia at the time and felt that her academic path left no room for a film career.

During promotions for her 2024 film 'Amaran', Pallavi revealed she once considered hiring a publicist to increase her fame. However, she ultimately decided against it, believing continuous self-promotion would offer nothing substantial and would quickly bore the public. Now, she is preparing for a significant role as Goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana', slated for a Diwali 2026 release.
