Sacha Baron Cohen to Star in Tarantino's Stage Play

Sacha Baron Cohen is slated to make his West End stage debut in Quentin Tarantino's original stage play, "The Popinjay Cavalier." This production signifies a major theatrical event, as it is also Tarantino's first-ever play.

Slated for a Spring 2027 opening at an undisclosed West End venue, the play is described as a "swashbuckling comedy." Sources indicate Baron Cohen will portray the title character in this "rambunctious comedy of deception and disguise."

This theatrical venture is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The news follows the upcoming global release of Baron Cohen's "Ali G Who Iz I?" in October.
