During a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune, host Ryan Seacrest demonstrated his supportive nature by comforting contestant Shawn Broderick. Broderick narrowly missed out on a substantial $50,000 prize in the final bonus round.
Seacrest offered a consoling hug and kind words, telling Broderick, "We had a great night." Despite not securing the grand prize, Broderick departed with $23,650 in winnings, which included an impressive trip to Vietnam.
The Washington native, who playfully joked about being single and needing a companion for his trip, confessed that his biggest fan moment was meeting co-host Vanna White. He expressed more nervousness about greeting White than Seacrest.
Meanwhile, Vanna White reflected on her decision to continue with the show after Pat Sajak's departure in 2024. She shared that she is enjoying her time working with Seacrest, noting their good chemistry and his professionalism, and is glad she didn't retire.
