Ryan O'Connell: 'Get railed' after reading my new book!

Ryan O'Connell, known for his honest portrayal of gay life with cerebral palsy, is releasing his new book, 'Inspiration Porn,' on May 26, 2026. The book promises intimate details about his hookups and his open relationship, with O'Connell hoping readers are inspired by its candidness.

O'Connell emphasizes that his work, including this book, is created for the LGBTQ+ community, avoiding sanitization for broader appeal. He draws parallels to the now-canceled series 'Queer as Folk,' which he felt was made by and for queer individuals.

Reflecting on his experiences in Hollywood, O'Connell describes the difficulty of writing about perceived failures. He notes the industry's rapid changes and criticizes its current output for not accurately mirroring contemporary society, lamenting the lack of authentic representation.
