Filmmaker Ruben Fleischer Unveils Plans for Zombieland 3 in 2029

Fleischer, who stepped in to direct the third installment of the Lionsgate magician heist franchise, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, has been eager to revisit the Zombieland universe.

Fleischer's journey to Hollywood success has been an eventful one. After starting out as a broke filmmaker, he worked his way up, gaining experience on projects like Dawson's Creek and the Zach Galifianakis digital talk show Between Two Ferns. Fleischer's big break came in 2009 with the release of the original Zombieland, which was a surprise hit, grossing over $102 million worldwide.
