- Third director joins The Royals 2 after two exits.

The filming of The Royals 2 has relocated to Mumbai, shifting from its initial shooting location in Rajasthan. This move follows a series of directorial changes that have impacted the production since its commencement.
Tanuj Chopra, acclaimed for his work on Delhi Crime, has been brought on board to direct the new season. His appointment comes after two previous directors, Jasmeet K Reen and Mitakshara Kumar, departed the project within a short period. Reports suggest these exits were due to issues related to scripting and creative vision.
The series stars Ishaan Khatter, with Gurfateh Pirzada and Sini Shetty joining the cast for the second installment. Notably, Bhumi Pednekar, who played a lead role in the first season, will not be featured in the upcoming season.
