- New music commissioned, inspired by a 15th-century manuscript.

A series of 15 community carol services nationwide received significant support from The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, making them particularly special.
St Edmundsbury Cathedral hosted the Suffolk Together at Christmas event, the sole service in the Eastern region. This occasion provided a vital opportunity to celebrate the impactful work of various charities and remember the communities they serve.
The service included traditional carols, readings by local schoolchildren, and performances by the Lowestoft Longshoremen and the London-based Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir. A new musical composition, 'Lullay Myn Lyking', inspired by a 15th-century manuscript, was also debuted.
