26 Mar
Summary
- Rousey made a surprise AEW appearance to support a friend.
- She admitted the appearance was a 'f k you' to TKO Group.
- This marks her first fight in nearly 10 years.

Ronda Rousey returned to the public eye with a surprise appearance at an AEW Revolution pay-per-view event. This marked her re-entry into the wrestling world after a previous WWE stint and ahead of her first fight in nearly 10 years against Gina Carano on May 16.
Rousey confessed that her AEW appearance was a deliberate, albeit playful, "f*** you" directed at TKO Group, the parent company of WWE and UFC. She admitted to proceeding without prior permission, believing it would be easier to seek forgiveness later.
The segment saw Rousey support her longtime friend and fellow wrestler Marina Shafir. Rousey acknowledged the clandestine nature of her arrival at the venue, describing being smuggled in under a tarp in a wheelchair.
Her return to competition will be in the main event of MMA MVP's inaugural Netflix event in Los Angeles. This marks Rousey's first legitimate fight since UFC 207 in 2016.
