Prime Video is developing Rose Hill, a new romantic family drama based on Elsie Silver's popular book series. The upcoming series will feature a compelling cast, including Jake Weary as West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, and Sean O'Pry as Ford Grant, a wealthy record label owner who has long admired West's sister, Rose, portrayed by Hannah Galway.
The narrative unfolds in a rugged mountain town where the dynamics shift with the arrival of country-pop star Skylar Stone, played by Sadie Dickerson. This influx of outside influence promises to heighten the romantic tensions and drama.
Heidi Cole McAdams is attached as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Marc Webb is set to direct the initial episodes and serve as an executive producer. Elsie Silver herself is also an executive producer, alongside Temple Hill's team.
