In a recent interview, actress Rosamund Pike recounted an embarrassing incident that occurred on the set of the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day. At the time, Pike was just 21 years old and playing the role of Miranda Frost, opposite the established James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan.
During an intimate scene, the two actors were filming a "tumble in an ice palace." Pike, who was new to filming love scenes, had to use "modesty stuff" like double-sided sticky tape to cover up certain areas. However, when the scene ended, Pike looked down and was horrified to see that the tape had ripped off some of Brosnan's chest hair.
"I was like, 'Oh my god, I've waxed Pierce Brosnan's chest with my boob tape!'" Pike recalled, feeling terrible for the "poor guy." She realized the tape had actually picked up the fur from the fake fur rug they were on, not Brosnan's own hair. Nevertheless, the young actress was clearly traumatized by the experience, as she has mentioned it multiple times this year.
