Rosé's New Song Drops With iPhone-Filmed Video

BLACKPINK's Rosé is preparing to unveil her latest solo single, titled "new trick," scheduled for release on September 17, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET. This release is highlighted by a music video directed by Dave Meyers, which was notably filmed entirely on the newly released iPhone 18 Pro. This collaboration is part of Apple's ongoing "Shot on iPhone" campaign, which has previously featured major artists.

The teaser for "new trick" showcases Rosé with lollipop-inspired imagery, suggesting a playful, candy-centered theme. Musically, the snippet offers a taste of the song's sound, characterized by distorted electric guitar and layered vocals, giving it a punchy, slightly gritty edge. This release follows Rosé's successful solo debut album 'rosie' and her chart-topping collaboration "APT.", indicating a continued evolution in her solo career.
