Summary

- Bob Odenkirk stars, elevating wooden dialogue with skill.
- Film shot entirely green screen in under 12 hours.
The Room Returns, a remake of Tommy Wiseau's 2003 cult classic, is now available to rent for $7.99. Directed by Brando Crawford, this new version aims to explore if talented actors could elevate the famously nonsensical script.
Shot entirely in front of a green screen in under 12 hours, the film meticulously reuses the original script. Bob Odenkirk steps into the lead role, delivering dialogue with deliberate pacing and emotional depth, a stark contrast to the original's wooden delivery.
While the remake does not improve upon the original film's quality, it offers a fresh layer of enjoyment through the earnestness of its cast. All proceeds from the rental of The Room Returns are being donated to The Foundation for AIDS Research and the nonprofit Blue Collaborative.
