Despite receiving strong reviews from critics and audiences, with an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film's financial performance has fallen short of its $18 million production budget.
Roofman, which stars Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, has earned just over $17 million worldwide so far, with the majority of that revenue, around 90%, coming from the North American market. The film had an $8.1 million opening weekend, but then saw a 54% drop in its second week, earning only $3.7 million.
