He attended the match with his elder son, Alastair, 19, with whom he shares a strong bond and a mutual love for the sport. Their appearances at Celtic games are frequent, highlighting their close relationship.

Stewart's recent travels also included a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was honored as the Guest of Honour. This recognition followed his performance of three sold-out shows at the Movistar Arena, playing to approximately 15,000 fans each night. He received a certificate and an Argentina football kit during a ceremony at the Parliamentary Assembly.
