Rod Stewart's Royal Jab at Trump at King's Trust Gala

Sir Rod Stewart delivered an unexpectedly candid endorsement of King Charles during The King's Trust's 50th Anniversary Celebration. While greeting the monarch, Stewart congratulated him on his recent state visit to the United States, adding a comment that was interpreted by many as a pointed remark directed at former President Donald Trump. Stewart has previously expressed criticism of Trump. This moment occurred as King Charles continued to receive significant acclaim for his four-day diplomatic visit to the US. A notable highlight of the trip was his address to a joint session of Congress, where he acknowledged global volatility while emphasizing international unity. His speech was seen as a diplomatic success, even drawing a compliment from Donald Trump himself.
