Roberta Bayley, a celebrated music photographer, will receive the Icon award at the 2026 Abbey Road music photography awards. Her work for Sire Records included the iconic cover for the Ramones' first album. However, her most famous photograph features Joey Ramone on Coney Island, a candid shot capturing a playful, unusual moment with a surfboard.
