Hollywood legend Robert De Niro has established a private family sanctuary on his expansive 78-acre estate in Gardiner, Ulster County, located approximately two hours north of New York City. The veteran actor, now 82, originally purchased the property in 1997 for $1.5 million. It has since been renovated to accommodate his expanding family.
De Niro recently welcomed his seventh child, a daughter named Gia, who is now three years old. He shares Gia with his partner, Tiffany Chen, whom he met in 2015. The actor also has six other children from previous relationships.
The lavish Gardiner estate includes a 2,222-square-foot main house, six bedrooms, and seven bathrooms. A converted 14,000-square-foot barn serves as a recreational area. The property also features numerous amenities such as a gym, boxing room, game room, swimming pool, sauna, basketball court, a small film studio, two guest houses, a ski slope, and a tennis court.
