- He was intimidated by Kinski's beauty during filming.
- Lowe's ex, Melissa Gilbert, claimed he cheated with Kinski.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Rob Lowe was prompted to name his best onscreen kiss. The actor, known for his roles since the 1980s, identified Nastassja Kinski as his top choice. Lowe recalled being intimidated by Kinski's striking beauty when they costarred in The Hotel New Hampshire.
Lowe, married to Sheryl Berkoff since 1991, also touched upon his enduring status as a Hollywood sex symbol. He humorously attributed his early appeal to being 'a little pretty' and his hair. This revelation about Kinski resurfaces in light of claims made by Lowe's former girlfriend, Melissa Gilbert.
Gilbert's 2009 memoir detailed instances of Lowe's infidelity during their '80s romance. She specifically mentioned Kinski and Demi Moore as women Lowe allegedly cheated with. Gilbert admitted to seeking revenge by having a fling with John Cusack, a friend of Lowe's, which she kept secret from him.
