Riya Pawan Gupta, recognized for her role as Parul in the popular television series 'Imlie', is making her debut in 'Jagadhatri'. She will portray the character of Lisa, a new addition that is expected to enhance the show's dramatic arc.
Gupta elaborated on her character, Lisa, explaining her connection to Rudra and his clandestine underworld dealings. Lisa's role is positioned as morally ambiguous, neither definitively good nor evil, offering Gupta a challenging opportunity to explore a multifaceted personality. This complexity arises as Rudra leverages Lisa's involvement to advance his operations.
The actress's entry coincides with a critical juncture for 'Jagadhatri', which recently celebrated its 300th episode milestone. The current storyline sees the protagonist, Jagadhatri, falsely implicated in Rudra's supposed murder, unaware that Rudra is alive and orchestrating events against her. Meanwhile, Shivaay has stepped away, leaving Jagadhatri to confront these challenges independently.
