In a surprise turn of events, actress Camila Mendes and musician Rudy Mancuso are now engaged. The couple, who met on the set of their upcoming comedy romance film Música, took their relationship to the next level on October 24, 2025.
Mancuso, 33, proposed to Mendes, 31, at what Mendes thought was a birthday party for her producing partner Rachel Matthews. Instead, it was a surprise engagement celebration, where Mancuso popped the question in front of their family and friends.
The newly-engaged couple didn't stop the festivities there. Around 11 p.m. that night, they headed to actor Glen Powell's tracksuit and tequila-themed birthday party, where they were spotted in high spirits, holding hands and sharing a kiss on the cheek.
Mendes and Mancuso first sparked romance rumors in November 2022 when the Riverdale alum posted a photo of Mancuso kissing her. They made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine's Day 2023, with Mendes declaring her love for Mancuso. Now, just two years later, the pair are set to tie the knot.
