Rita Wilson's Stunning Back Tattoo Revealed

Actress Rita Wilson recently shared a striking image with her Instagram followers, revealing an elaborate tattoo design on her back. The photograph, taken from behind, displayed an ornate cross that extended from her shoulder blades down to her lower back, featuring intricate geometric lines and shading. An additional sun motif tattoo was visible on her upper arm.

The 69-year-old star's post has generated considerable attention and praise from fellow celebrities and fans alike. This unveiling coincides with the recent release of her new song, "Stranger With Age," on September 18, 2026, as part of the deluxe edition of her sixth studio album, "Sound of a Woman." The track explores the liberation found in aging and the reduced influence of external opinions.

Wilson has previously discussed her evolving perspective on tattoos, acknowledging how societal stereotypes once shaped her views. She also opened up earlier in 2026 about how her experiences with motherhood and breast cancer in 2015, including a double mastectomy, have deepened her appreciation for her body and its resilience.
