Rishabh Sawhney's Telugu Debut: A Dual Role Adventure

Actor Rishabh Sawhney is making his highly anticipated Telugu cinema debut with the upcoming fantasy adventure drama, 'Nagabandham.' The film is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026. Sawhney, who previously garnered attention for his role in 'Fighter,' will be portraying a significantly different character in his new venture.

In 'Nagabandham,' Sawhney will be seen in a compelling dual role, embodying both the historical figure Ahmad Shah Abdali and his modern-day reincarnation. The narrative unfolds across two distinct timelines. To prepare, Sawhney underwent extensive training, including sword fighting and learning the Pashto language.

The film's plot centers on a mystical treasure connected to Lord Anantha Padmanabha Swamy, hidden within the Himalayas. This sacred artifact becomes the target of a greedy antagonist, necessitating a guardian to protect it from encroaching dark forces.

'Nagabandham' boasts a multilingual release and features actors such as Virat Karrna, Iswarya Menon, Nabha Natesh, and Murali Sharma. The trailer, released on June 19, has surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.
