In a move that has excited fans of the Kantara franchise, director Rishab Shetty has announced that Kantara 3 is in the works. The announcement came in the climax of Kantara 2, which was released earlier this year. However, Rishab Shetty's plate is already full, and it will be a couple of years before he returns to the Kantara series.
Alongside Kantara 3, Rishab Shetty is currently working on two other major projects. The first is Jai Hanuman, a film starring Teja Sajja and Prashanth Varma. The second is a biopic of the legendary Maratha ruler, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which Rishab is producing with Sandeep Singh.
