Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns for its third season with the first four episodes premiering November 11, 2026. The subsequent episodes will release on November 18 and November 25. Season 3 picks up five years after the fall of Eregion, depicting Middle-earth engulfed in war.
Sauron's armies have expanded, with few free strongholds remaining. From his newly built tower, Barad-dûr, Sauron is intensely focused on forging the One Ring, the ultimate tool for domination. All free peoples—Dwarves, Elves, Men, and Wizards—must unite to prevent his goal of controlling all life.
The cast welcomes Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn, Galadriel's long-lost husband. Simon Pegg will voice the Balrog, and Eddie Marsan will play Thrain, brother to King Durin IV. Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla, and Adam Young also join the ensemble. The official season 3 trailer, released October 21, offers a glimpse of the fight against Sauron and introduces the Nazgnagôl, precursors to the Nazgúl.
