The second series of The Celebrity Traitors launched with an unprecedented moment when actor Richard E. Grant immediately revealed his Traitor status. Without hesitation, Grant declared "Traitor!" to the shock of his fellow contestants, including James Blunt and Ross Kemp.
Grant later described the confession as "the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life." He explained his excitement at being chosen for a role he had always wanted led to an unguarded confession. This memorable exchange is set to be replayed on Joe Lycett's current Channel 4 programme.
Joe Lycett's show, Live From The Lycett Arms, will feature him rewatching the premiere episode and reacting to the moment he learned of Grant's Traitor role. Lycett will share further anecdotes from his time on The Celebrity Traitors, including diary entries and details about his interaction with Grant. The program airs tonight at 10 pm on Channel 4.
