RHOC Star Katie Ginella Discloses Paycheck Woes and Uncertain Future

In a recent interview at BravoCon 2025, Katie Ginella, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), has disclosed details about her paycheck for the show's 19th season. Ginella, 41, claims she was only paid $20,000 for the episodes she appeared in, which she says was not enough to cover her travel expenses for the show.
Ginella further explained that she did not earn any income for the second half of the season, as "nobody" requested her to film additional scenes. This, she says, "really hurts" as she had to put her "real work" on hold to be part of the show, missing out on paychecks from her other sources of income.
Despite the financial challenges, Ginella has been working towards reconciliation with her RHOC co-star Tamra Judge, 58. Tamra reached out to Ginella after she was "paused" from filming, and the two have since been rebuilding their friendship. Ginella is grateful for Tamra's support and is hopeful about a potential return for the show's 20th season, especially if she can continue to mend her relationships with the other Housewives.
Looking ahead, Ginella is uncertain whether she will be asked back for season 20, but she is fairly certain she would accept the offer if given the chance, particularly if she can maintain her newfound friendship with Tamra and Vicki Gunvalson, who is also set to return to the series.
