Protester to Reality Star: Rhiya Ahir's Bigg Boss Journey

Rhiya Ahir, known for her role in a viral student protest, is reportedly in contention for a place in the Bigg Boss 20 house. She expressed initial hesitation about the reality show but was persuaded by the producers, who assured her she wouldn't be forced into conflict.

Ahir stated her intention to use the platform to reveal her true identity and address existing narratives and controversies surrounding her. She aims to showcase her loyal, happy-go-lucky, yet stubborn personality, admitting she can be wrong. Her participation is part of a challenge called 'Fans Ka Faisla' against actor Lovepreet Kaur.

Dismissing claims that her protest actions were staged for Bigg Boss fame, Ahir recounted her father's words that the incident was unscripted. She also expressed a desire to challenge negative stereotypes about Gen Z, highlighting the protest as evidence of youth finding their voice. Ahir feels her actions that night allowed approximately 20 students to go home safely.

While not ruling out future political aspirations, Ahir's immediate goal is to be known beyond the viral incident. She shared a personal connection to Bigg Boss, recalling childhood memories of watching it with her family. Ahir is particularly excited to meet host Salman Khan, noting their shared birthday on December 27 and a perceived similarity in being hot-headed 'givers'. Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on September 6.
