Pop artist Rhea Raj has signed a landmark joint label deal with REPUBLIC and HYBE America, in alliance with 5 Junction Management. This partnership, spearheaded by Anjula Acharia, Monte Lipman, and Isaac Lee, signifies a major step in Raj's decade-long journey in the music industry. Raj's signing represents the first joint-venture deal between REPUBLIC and HYBE.

Industry executives see explosive crossover potential in the 26-year-old Indian-American artist. Acharia, who leads 5 Junction Management, compares Raj's vision and drive to Lady Gaga, aiming to elevate South Asian culture on a global scale.

Raj's career began after an American Idol audition in 2016, leading her to attend NYU's Clive Davis Institute and release independent projects. Her musical style, influenced by dance-pop and Classical Indian dance, emphasizes movement and choreography.

The deal with REPUBLIC and HYBE America aligns with HYBE's growing investment in India, following success with groups like KATSEYE, which features Raj's sister, Lara. Raj is also preparing to release her new single, a high-energy dance track infused with a classic Indian sample.
