Footage shown depicted an unnamed female character in a Parisian apartment, who was revealed to be Claire Redfield. This marks a reimagined take on the classic Code Veronica story, which originally launched in 2000 for the Sega Dreamcast.
While not a mainline numbered entry, Resident Evil: Code Veronica is a significant and beloved part of the series' lore. Its narrative unfolds around the same time as Resident Evil 3, featuring Claire and Chris Redfield on a remote prison island and in Antarctica, with the antagonist Wesker also involved.
