In a YouTube video, he explained that the accident occurred while he was using a powerful mag drill. The drill's torque caught his glove, pulling his hand into the cutter mechanism.

Chinea clarified that while no major damage was sustained, his hand is cut, bruised, and hurting intensely, affecting the movement of his last three fingers. He speculated that a protruding bolt, which he used to replace a missing grub screw, likely snagged his glove. He showed his ripped glove as a stark reminder of the workshop's potential dangers, especially when working alone.

Following his disclosure, fans expressed concern and offered advice. Many recommended he seek immediate medical attention, including an X-ray, and stressed the importance of having a first aid kit readily available when working alone.
