In a surprising revelation, it has been disclosed that Nigel McCrery, the renowned creator of the hit TV crime drama Silent Witness, left behind a modest estate of only £10,000 when he passed away in February 2025 at the age of 71. Prior to his television career, McCrery served as a police officer with the murder squad in Nottingham.
