Hollywood Creatives and Care Experts Gather for Groundbreaking NYC Summit

In just a few weeks, a groundbreaking summit will take place in New York City, bringing together an impressive lineup of leaders to explore the future of care in America. The 3-day event, set to be held at the Ford Foundation from November 18-20, 2025, is organized by the national organization Caring Across Generations.

The summit will feature a diverse array of speakers, including renowned figures like actress Jane Fonda, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke. These experts from policy, civil society, business, technology, entertainment, and journalism will share their stories, ideas, and dreams for what a more accessible, affordable, and equitable care system in the US could look like.

Beyond the high-profile names, the event will also showcase care-inclusive storytelling in film and TV. A "Care Storytelling Showcase" will provide a platform for entertainment industry creatives, funders, and executives to share how they have incorporated care narratives into their work.
